Studio Policies

All students must commit to a minimum of four lessons per month. Lessons can be in increments of 30, 45, or 60 minutes. If you need to cancel, please intend to reschedule within the month. Tuition will be due on the seventh of each month; it can be paid by cash, personal check, or electronically via e-mailed invoice, Venmo, or Zelle. If you miss tuition for any reason (e.g., canceling, rescheduling our first lesson, or simply forgetting), please send tuition as scheduled to avoid the late fee of $10. Overdue payments will be accepted with a late fee of $10. The late fee can be waived if you choose to pay cash at our next lesson.

Last-minute cancellations are penalized. Tina Whitley Music does not credit or refund tuition and must be notified at least 12 hours before a scheduled lesson to reschedule the missed lesson. Less than 12 hours’ notification will result in the forfeiture of tuition, which is non-refundable or non-creditable. Refund or credit will only be permitted if cancelation is initiated by Tina Whitley Music. Please do not ask to reschedule or receive credit if you have canceled last minute.

These policies have been designed and will be enforced to provide consistency and commitment to every student’s music education by both parent and teacher. These policies will also allow Tina Whitley Music to run its studio with structure and organization competitive to other studios.
